They were the first Australian pop music band to move to major charts  and sales achievements in the United Kingdom and also the United States. They were very popular in the 1960s with their best-known members as Judith Durham as lead vocal, piano, and tambourine – Athol Guy on bass and vocals – Keith Potger on guitar, banjo, and vocals and Bruce Woodley on guitar, mandolin, banjo, and vocals.
