The world of entertainment lost a true icon on Saturday, January 28th when Lisa Loring, the actress who was beloved for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams in the classic TV adaptation of The Addams Family from 1964-1966, passed away.
Loring died peacefully in Burbank, California at the age of 64 due to complications from a stroke. Her two daughters were with her when she passed.
Loring is remembered as one of the most iconic child stars in television history and will be dearly missed by both fans and those who had the pleasure to work with her throughout her lifetime.
Her career began after she was cast as Wednesday Addams at only six years old, becoming an immediate hit among viewers worldwide.
She later went on to pursue other roles including appearances in shows such as Leave It To Beaver and my Three Sons before retiring from acting entirely in 1971.
